The helical gearboxes' loading directions allow them to work with higher quotes, and they are quieter than spur gearboxes. Bevel gearboxes are composed of two crossing shafts, with cone-style teeth, promoting motion versatility in between shafts. A bevel gearbox should be handled with extra care considering the significant amount of pressure. Bevel gearboxes work best with lower gear ratios and  low-speed jobs, with an efficiency rate between 93% to 97%. A variant of bevel gearbox is spiral bevel gearbox, offering the same benefits of helical gear systems with slowly engaging teeth. Spiral bevel gearboxes have higher efficiency rate which is about 95% to 98%. Hypoid gearboxes resemble the types of spiral bevels with drive axes that don't touch. When it comes to mechanical performance of hypoid gearboxes, it is between 80% to 85%.
